Boker Bowie Knives

Boker has been around since the 17th century, so it’s only fitting that the company would make some beautiful, traditional Bowie-style blades. There are a few Boker Bowies that I like in particular—take a look:

Boker Luckett Bowie

We looked at the Boker Plus Collection 2014 Bowie from Boker, but this is the 2012 piece. This particular knife is probably the least traditional of the Boker Bowies I found, but it’s one of my favorites. It was designed by Bill Luckett, who is known for his unique Bowie knives. He also usually works freehand, which is amazing in and of itself. The 8.25-inch, mirror-polished blade is beautiful and it has a slightly different shape than your typical Bowie blade. The hand guard and pommel are also polished and set with fiber layers. The black micarta handle is 5 inches long and gives you plenty to grip.

These next few Bowies are very similar to each other, but each one has slightly different specs than the others:

Each of these Bowies has a 440 steel blade in the 10.75–11-inch range.

If you want a classic Bowie from a company that’s been around and knows what it’s doing, get a Boker Bowie. There’s quite a variety of styles and materials to choose from, so you’re sure to find something you like.
