Better Late than Never
What a day! It’s pretty safe to say that SHOT Show never fails to excite. Today we saw lots of great new stuff from our friends at Kershaw, Zero Tolerance, and Spyderco.
We are going to cover an item or two from each manufacturer that, judging by our social media interactions with you guys, were the most exciting/popular for SHOT Show 2017.
Zero Tolerance
Our first stop of the day was at ZT, where we got to look at all 5 new models they were unveiling for SHOT Show 2017. Far and away the most popular knife from Zero Tolerance was the 0055. Not too surprising as the GTC collaboration has an innovative hidden flipper opening mechanism. Check out that, and the rest of the ZT lineup here:
Kershaw
It will probably come as no surprise that our next stop of SHOT Show 2017 was straight to the Kershaw booth. We are always excited to visit Kershaw, and this year they did not disappoint. The surprise of the show from them was the PUB, a handy little carabiner/knife/EDC tool. The Sinkevich designed knife looks like it’s going to be a staple for years to come. Check out the PUB, and plenty of other Kershaw offerings in our booth overview here:
Benchmade
Let’s not even beat around the bush on this one. It is 100% the Benchmade 87 that is the most talked about (controversial?) knife coming out of SHOT Show 2017. It is so highly anticipated that we are going to record a special edition of Knife Banter on that single knife. Be sure to check out our YouTube channel to catch that episode! Should be airing the evening of 1/18/17. For some coverage of the 87, and the rest of Benchmade’s new lineup, watch our booth overview here:
Spyderco
Our final stop of the day found us at the Spyderco booth. Spyderco has a ton of great new offerings this season! The one knife in particular that caught our eye, though, was the Spyderco Sliver. As the first production flipper/compression lock knife to come out of Spyderco, this is a very exciting blade. If the knife looks familiar to you, that’s probably because it was designed by Paul Alexander, the man behind the Spyderco Ouroboros design. See the Sliver, and plenty of other new Spyderco knives in our booth overview here:
